Welcome to the future of manufacturing

Empowering innovation through additive manufacturing

Additive manufacturing, or 3D printing, is not just about creating objects; it’s about revolutionising the way we think about manufacturing. By building layers upon layers from digital designs, this technology enables the production of complex parts and prototypes previously deemed impossible or too costly with traditional methods. From metal and polymer additive manufacturing to comprehensive reverse engineering, the Advanced Digital Manufacturing & Innovation (ADMI) Centre embodies the full potential of this transformative approach.

Debunking Myths: FAQs

Your questions, answered

Additive manufacturing is surrounded by myths and misconceptions. At the ADMI Centre, we believe in clarity and education. Here are answers to some common queries:

Q. Can it print complex parts?

A. Absolutely! From intricate dental implants to robust aerospace components, our technology pushes the boundaries of what’s possible.

Q. Can the ADMI Centre help if I only have a concept but no design?

A. Yes. Our experts specialise in turning concepts into viable designs. We can assist you with every step from initial sketch to a fully realised product, using our advanced reverse engineering and design capabilities.

Q. Is it just for large companies?

A. No. We cater to all scales, from local startups to multinational corporations.

Q. Is 3D printing limited in the types of parts it can produce?

A. Not at all. While 3D printing is often associated with producing prototypes, our technologies are capable of manufacturing complex, high-strength, and fully functional parts suitable for end use in various industries.

Q. What about the production of small batches or unique pieces?

A. The ADMI Centre excels in low-volume, bespoke production, which is perfect for custom or niche applications. Our processes allow for the economical production of small batches, making it ideal for high-end, custom, or experimental projects.

Q. Is it possible to protect my intellectual property if I collaborate with the ADMI Centre?

A. Protecting your intellectual property is a priority for us. The ADMI Centre operates under a unique policy where clients retain full ownership of their designs and products. We provide the tools and expertise while ensuring your innovations remain yours alone.

Q. Can the ADMI Centre handle materials traceability and certification needs?

A. We use industrial-grade machines that provide material traceability and the option for certification, making our processes suitable for sectors requiring stringent documentation, such as aerospace and medical devices.
