For over 35 years Circus Starr has been holding accessible and inclusive circus shows. For vulnerable and disabled children who, through no fault of their own, sadly miss out on the chance to enjoy live arts.
Circus Starr are able to hold our magical indoor show thanks to the generosity of local businesses. With your support we can provide a performance that has the power to help those who usually feel isolated, to come together and experience happiness.
Circus Starr work hard to make sure our indoor show is accessible in every way, including our sensory accessibility.
They created the Circus Starr Sensory Story and pack which has helped people like Jessica the Circus Starr Sensory Story and pack which has helped people like Jessica, who has profound and multiple learning difficulties, come along to our show.
“Jessica was so excited by the (sensory) story and by the Circus itself, it was a joy to see.” Her Mum, Kerry, told us.
“Our trip to Circus Starr brought such smiles and squeals of delight that are priceless to our family. We struggle to find accessible, meaningful opportunities for Jessica now she has grown into adulthood. Circus Starr broke down all of the barriers to enable Jessica and us a day to cherish. Thank you so much.”
