The Plymouth Institute of Health and Care Research (PIHR) and the Community and Primary Care Research Group (CPCRG) are delighted to invite colleagues from across the University and local health and care trusts to this event presented by Nigel Edwards, Chief Executive of the Nuffield Trust.
Using analysis of some of the lessons from previous exercises in planning and hospital construction and some of the current discussion about the development of integrated care, the deployment of technology and key decisions for the New Hospital Programme, Nigel will present some ideas to help us think about how to do a better job of planning future hospitals. Following his talk, there will be an opportunity for a question and answer session.
Before joining the Nuffield Trust in 2014, Nigel worked for the King’s Fund, KPMG’s global practice and the NHS Confederation where he was Director of Policy and later Chief Executive. He is an Honorary Visiting Professor at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, where he worked as Director of the London Health Economics Consortium from 1992 to 1999.
Booking is free. If you would like to receive a calendar invitation for this event, please contact PIHRSupport@plymouth.ac.uk by Monday 21 June.
