Launching the brand new Smart Experimental Aquarium at the Marine Biological Association with the Marine Biology Technology Centre

Join in to find out more about these State-of-the-art array of 12 aquarium tanks each with dedicated life support system and computer control for automatic measurement and monitoring of water parameters. Located in the Marine Biological Association, the array benefits from the existing seawater system and wealth of technical expertise and support. Funded through the European Regional Development Fund and the Marine Business Technology Centre, the SEA facility is available from May – August 2021 for Devon Small and Medium Enterprises for free for up to a week. This includes technical assistance and at highly competitive rates following. For longer periods please discuss your needs with us, in case we have openings.

Join Alix Harvey, Rowena Stern, Emily Deery of the MBA and Louise Creber of the MBTC to discuss how to access these state-of-the-art aquarium tanks for FREE. There will be opportunities to ask questions throughout the session.

In partnership with Maritime UK South West and other local partners, the team at the Oceansgate Marine Technology Enterprise Zone in Plymouth are overcoming Covid-19 barriers to face to face networking and collaboration by hosting a regular programme of marine technology webinars. The events will provide a platform for the world class marine technology offer in the surrounding area with topics including access to innovation funding and support, marine autonomy, case studies covering leading edge tech development and showcasing world class strengths in the SW.

Maritime UK South West will add to the programme by enabling South West exposure to national programmes and opportunities and will also highlight investment opportunities in the area.

The webinars will be part of an ongoing series to be held each Wednesday at 11am, enabling businesses a regular time to plug in to new opportunities.
