Plymouth Electron Microscope Centre (PEMC) is pleased to announce the launch of its new project Plymouth Materials Characterisation Network (PMCN).

Join PEMC, online on Tuesday 24th August 2021 from 10:00 to 12:40, to discover how electron microscopy could support your business, and how to access their facilities for free, thanks to EU funding. You will also hear from previous beneficiaries of PEMC support, who will tell you how electron microscopy has helped their business solve problems, launch new products, and win large contracts, their successful partners; Langage FarmPollenize and Plessey Semiconductors will be onboard to share their positive experiences with you.  There will also be sponsor talks from JEOL and Oxford Instruments.

There will be 3 dedicated Q&A sessions with experts in each of the respective fields, covering:

  • Materials/Engineering
  • Bio/Medical/Marine
  • Geo/Environmental

About PEMC can help investigate/solve issues such as, repeat failures, composite components and quality control, just to name a few. Their aim is to work extensively with academic colleagues, partners and commercial customers. PEMC seek to promote the cross-over of learning and research between the university and business community, with this free service. PEMC will also be launching their new calendar of their Industrial Solutions Events.

Registration PMCN Launch

This is a free online event, where PEMC are offering free support, anyone can attend, please do encourage your colleagues and contacts to not miss out on the opportunity to find out how PEMC can aid businesses in your area.  The event will be delivered online via Zoom and an invite email will be sent to you upon registration.
