The annual Research Festival is a celebration of curiosity and collaboration, inviting you to understand more of our world and those living in it, from marine sciences to engineering to cybersecurity, global challenges to architecture to education.We invite academics, businesses, partners, students and the public to sample a diverse programme that showcases the outstanding research carried out by staff at the University in collaboration with colleagues and partners locally, nationally and internationally.

Hear about the latest research from leading academics and top keynote speakers, including COP26 High Level Climate Champion, Nigel Topping and BBC Rural Affairs Correspondent, Tom Heap, and find out how your research or business could achieve greater impact through collaboration.

Previous years have seen over 1000 attendees and led to new collaborations, launched research networks, communicated interdisciplinary projects, and encouraged public engagement on some of the world’s most pressing issues.
