A new regional healtech hub programme has launched at UWE.
The Health Tech Hub helps businesses to develop and bring to market new technology solutions which promote health and wellbeing, particularly focusing on independent living and citizen-centric health.
The programme is open to entrepreneurs, start-ups and small to medium-sized businesses developing new products and services for the health, well-being, environmental and life science sectors. It is funded by the European Regional Development Fund.
The programme offers free technical and sector specialist support, such as proof-of-principle laboratory studies, prototype development, product testing & validation, technical/market reviews, and regulatory compliance assistance. Mini-projects usually last for 2/3 weeks and are delivered by our team of technical experts and sector specialists, utilising our extensive laboratory facilities.
