Bluescreen IT is on a mission to unlock the region’s tech potential and help individuals transition into an exciting career in IT, Cloud or Cyber Security career.
Having supported MoD service leavers resettle into the growing global tech industry for the past 17 years. They now want to use that expertise to help our region’s citizens build their confidences, industry skills and find that next exciting role in the new digital economy.
With funding from the Department for Education through the #Train4Tomorrow bootcamp programme, they are offering 90 residents of Cornwall, Devon, Dorset and Somerset the chance to sign up for a free industry skills boot camp in IT, Cloud or cyber, including industry placement.
The 8 week cyber boot camp will cover:
- Personal development
- Technical development – CompTIA IT security
- CompTIA cyber security analyst (CySA+)
- CompTIA pentesting (PenTest+)
- Job placement
The 9 week IT boot camp will cover:
Personal development
- Technical development – IT fundamentals
- CompTIA A+ Core 1
- CompTIA A+ Core 2
- CompTIA Networking (CompTIA Network+)
- CyberSafe
- Introduction to IoT
- Job placement
The 9 week Cloud boot camp will cover:
Personal development
- Technical development – IT fundamentals
- CompTIA A+ Core 1
- CompTIA A+ Core 2
- CompTIA Cloud Essentials+
- CyberSafe
- Introduction to IoT
- Job placement
The aim of the programme is to get all successful delegates through the boot camp and find them a workplace to lead onto employment in the region or as a remote worker to increase the opportunities available within six months of completing.
This is an outstanding opportunity. To quality you need to be a resident of Cornwall, Devon, Dorset or Somerset aged 19+.
The programme is ideally suited to unemployed or underemployed graduates who want to kick start a successful career in IT or cyber.
