Scarlet PL are looking for a new part-time Book Keeper.

The Role:

• All aspects of bookkeeping for Ltd company.  Software used is QBO.
• Financial year Jan to Dec
• Purchase ledger.
• Entering all purchase invoices/credit notes. Filing in relevant folders.
• Reconciling supplier invoices to supplier statements
• Paying suppliers in a timely manner, generally month following invoice date, occasionally on receipt of invoice. Entering all supplier payments.
• Dealing with any queries from Scarletpl to suppliers and vice versa
• Ordering stationery
• Sales ledger
• Checking customer invoices and then entered onto QBO. Customer invoices produced by Manager.
• Issuing credit notes if required.
• Recording customer payments through the bank.
• Dealing with customer account queries. And liaising with Manager
• Banking on QBO
• Checking Wise every day.  Entering bank payments and bank receipts on QBO.
• Need to be conversant with multi currency banking.
• Reconciliation of bank statement to QBO bank.
• Wages
• Collecting hours from Employees at end of month then emailed to payroll bureau.
• Wage slips distributed and wages payments made through Wise bank at end of month
• Then entered into QBO
• PAYE paid at relevant time each month.
• Holiday year Aug to Jul
• VAT done quarterly. Jan, Apr, Jul and Oct.
• Liaising with Accountant (Hackett and Griffey, Haverhill, Essex)
