As a vibrant community of innovators working alongside each other in the region’s largest science and technology centre, Plymouth Science Park offers a unique opportunity for organisations to come together to network, collaborate, and support each other.

IT provider and consultancy Acronyms provide businesses with IT support alongside a range of associated products and services including unified communications, internet connectivity and disaster recovery solutions. They have worked on projects with multiple other tenants at the Park, offering IT support to companies including Gathering Momentum, Pixalytics, Ultracardiac, and DDRC Healthcare

Working at Plymouth Science Park has allowed Acronyms to establish relationships with many of their neighbours, referring business to each other and supporting each other’s clients. Acronyms have often passed on requests for website design to UX web design agency Made with Maturity.

Frazer Lloyd-Davies, Marketing Manager at Acronyms, said: “Building relationships is key to business success and growth, and being based here has allowed us to go to social events and network with other tenants. We now work closely with Ben Stirling at Made with Maturity, and other neighbours we run into at the Park.”

Ben introduced Frazer to Gathering Momentum, an independent CRM consultancy, when they moved to the Park in February 2021. Acronyms have since worked with Gathering Momentum on setting them up with a new phone system.

Acronyms also manage long-term IT support for several tenants, such as satellite Earth observation consultancy Pixalytics and Ultracardiac, helping them to smoothly run their echocardiography and cardiac screening solutions from the Park.

Frazer said: “Working at the Park, you bump into other tenants in the corridors and co-working spaces, sparking conversations and often leading to forming strong working relationships. We are looking forward to continuing to build the community here at the Park, and supporting our neighbours with their IT needs.”
