The world’s most competitive racing on water returns to Britain’s Ocean City, Plymouth, on 30 and 31 July, 2022 for the Great Britain Sail Grand Prix.

Taking place within the natural amphitheater of Plymouth Sound, the foiling catamarans are capable of speeds of nearly 60 mph, promising high speed, high tech and high drama.

Nine competing nations will race in identical F50 catamarans, with Sir Ben Ainslie leading the Great Britain Team.

Spectator tickets:

Book your ticket in advance.  Waterfront Access Tickets will give you access to The Official Event Village on Plymouth Hoe. There will be live race commentary, an official merchandise shop, refreshments and a main stage featuring athlete appearances.

Online Streaming:

All races will be streamed live on YouTube and Sky Sports in the UK for all to watch! Whether you’re a novice sailing enthusiast, it will be an event for everyone to enjoy. All details about how to watch can be found at: sailgp.com/watch/

On the water:
