Immersive tech mentoring programme launched

The Ideate Plymouth mentoring programme offers support to businesses or sole traders looking to use immersive technology to grow their business. 

Creative England’s Ideate mentoring programme is looking for businesses based in Plymouth and the surrounding areas who are using or looking to start using immersive technologies.  The mentoring programme allows those leading the way in this emerging sector to provide advice to businesses on how to develop a new immersive experience.

Twelve companies will be selected to work with their own immersive consultant for up to 10 hours of mentoring over 5 months.

Selected businesses will also be invited to attend monthly peer to peer learning sessions which will include expert guest speakers and allow for the cohort to share experience, contacts and expertise with their peers. At the end of their mentoring period selected businesses will attend a “routes to market” event which will include exclusive pitching and networking with investors and potential large-scale customers.

This programme is ideal for any businesses who are interested in how immersive technology such as AR, VR and XR can enhance their products and experiences for clients, visitors and audiences. It is completely free to businesses in and around Plymouth.
